Here is a description of the bulb. Has anyone tried it on a nano reef, 10 gal. or so?

So does that mean that all together I'd get a TWO year/24month warranty?? Hmmm, food for thought...

But seriously, it sounds like it'd work doesn't it? At 6500K it might be a tad more yellow? That doesn't bother me as long as it's keeping things healthy. I had a LOA fixture but that sucker went out quickly and I'm having trouble finding something that will fit such a small space and give proper spectrum and wattage without getting into the heating issues. This sounds like I could use a regular hood??

Have not used the bulb but I like that the warranty was written by the department of redundancy department

I think the real issue would be directing the light down into the tank. We have a hard enough time with reflectors for MH, PC, and flouro bulbs, and they are simple cylinders. How would you try to prevent restrike in a bulb like that?
