that's some great looking coralline(sp?) algea you've got on those rocks Emily.
Very Nice.
question about your urchin: I traded my hitchhicker urchin in to the LFS for credit after i caught him making bone white streaks on my LR. Do you have problems with the the species of urchin that you have eating up your coralline? I've read where Dr. Ron said that coralline eating urchins actually promote algea growth. But my urchin ate fast. and my algea grows slooow.
The tuxedo has been with me quite a while. Having several tanks , I moved him around a bit, as he did buff the coraline, I didn't know how bad that was.
When I moved the reef to the 155g in Sept I decided he would remain full-time urchin.
That is without a doubt, one of the nicest sites I've seen. Beautiful pictures! Fish look stunning and I love the aquascaping. How does the butterfly fare with the trigger and lion? I'd also ask how you like the bowfront? I'm looking into a 150 this summer but the 155 BF is really sharp. Thank you for posting those great pics. Very inspiring!

Thanks jw
The butterfly is the bravest fish in the tank
I love the bowfront - more so after finding someone to make the custom canopy. Right Mitch

<strong>Looks great Em!!
Would you recommend him/her for other website design?

I certainly would, Kevin Done was very accomodating (helped me get it online last night in the wee hours since I was so excited !)and did a great job. Did the whole thing via file transfer. (He's in Ontario).
Very nice site! Glad to see another fellow dog lover, I have two in the house.
My friends also adopted a retired greyhound. She is the biggest baby and just lays around, she does not get excited about a whole lot. She's a good dog. Anyway, very nice pics, I really like the Devil's Hand, I gotta get one of those.
That is such a beautiful tank. The corals, fish, and other inverts looks so healty and happy. The colors of the fish and the corals are so vibrant,I am wondering what type of diet regime do you have for the fish and what type of foods and/or additives do you add for the corals. Also where did you buy most of your corals and fish.
Nick
Thank you Miklos, I am very happy with the health of my occupants.
I feed a HUGE variety of foods, I have at least a dozen different frozen foods, another dozen or so flake, pellets, and stickons. I've always used vitamins, several different brands.
I should also re-state, you need a good skimmer and good water maintenance to feed heavily.

Speak to me about these vitamins. What are you using? I routinely use selcon, but have always wanted to know what else others use and what benefits they notice. Thanks

Never had access to Selcon up here in Canada..
I ordered Selco from brineshrimpdirect and tried that once thinking it was the same thing....the fish all scattered and gave me some VERY MAD looks. (I guess Selco is very concentrated)
I've used Kent Zoe, and Ocean Nutrition Vita-Boost for the most part.
If it does any good ?? Doesn't do any harm, I'd say, after using it about three years now.
My fish are such food hounds now, I swear I could teach them to sit.
