Has anyone used a D&D Marine's Titan Protein Skimmer? Looks like a good design, but don't know if the slanted collection cut will work good. Here is a link www.danddmarine.com
I have had experinec with D&D mariner products, for me it was like the old saying I wish I had only known!(kinda like buying your first skilter) Save your money and purchase a better skimmer!!! IMO & IME they are a very poor design and not very efficient.

I used a D&D Marine Beast protein skimmer for a while. It worked ok for it's size but was a PITA to clean. I would consider a Berlin or Turbofloater in that price range.
Worst skimmer i have ever had in my life. By the time i got round to chucking it away i was on my third fraxination body and my second flood. All i ever heard from the LFS where i bought it was tales of wet carpets and dodgy venturis. This was my first expirience of how bad equipment design really can get. I cant beleve there still selling them. I cant actually beleave they they were ever tested they were that bad, you even had to be carefull turning the thing off because of how badly the airline was placed. Save your money, drill your tank, go for a sump, and dont be shy to pay good money, that way you might end up with good equipment.
I still cant beleve how much hassle that skimmer caused me, there should be a law against products like that.
