Disappearing Fish.....

My beautiful sailfin tang up and disappeared. =(. I find it amazing that a fish that size can just vanish without a trace.

I have had a couple of fish to die and find them wedged into the rocks in the back out of sight. That may be a place to look.

I have a very open reef structure. There isn't much I can't see.

Did you check on the floor where he might have jumped out? Do you own a cat or a sea otter?

In a healthy reef, a dead body won't last for more than a few hours, and the most you can hope to find is probably a skeleton, and since fish have such tiny bones, all I've ever found was a small skull (completely stripped of any flesh and skin) with a tiny spine extending from it.
