Feather Duster Question

I just bought a few hawaiian feather dusters. When I got home and put them in the tank, one f them came out of its tube. I laid the worm next to its tube in the tank. Should I do something to help it? Can I, or do I need to put it back in its tube? Thanks for any help.

From time to time we'll get a few tube-less dusters in, you can put him back in the tube (if it will fit) or if there is nothing there to bother it it can re-grow a new tube. I'd try putting it back in the tube first though.

Stressed worms will sometimes leave their tubes. They will reform the tube in many cases. There's a certain advantage in that they will seek a place they like and attach rather than your having to place them.

Most important thing is to keep your fingers crossed!
