i bought a aqua c urchin protein skimmer the other fay and I LOVE IT!!!! It needs no tinkering, sets up in a minute, is quiet, and sooooo much gunk!!!! Much better than the Berlin i was running...like double the efficiency...and no i dont work for the company...anyone else have one????

Brad.. Aqua C is a great pump and I would chose it over a Berlin also.

Esmithiii.. I have a yellow, a powder blue, naso, and a sailfin all in my 10 gal nano will it be OK to put in a pyjama, goldrim and sohal with them..

I've heard soooo much good stuff about aqua c's skimmers but have never seen one in action. I cant even find them in our distributer's catalogs...

I just bought an AquaC Urchin a few weeks ago and hooked it up to a tank with a bunch of smelly LR. It took care of the problem really quickly. Now that the mess is cleaned up it doesn't seem to be taking much out of the water, but then I don't have any fish yet and really have little experience with skimmers; so nothing to compare it's performance too.
I do wish that I had been able to find the newer release of the same model as they have a supposedly improved O-ring instead of the thumb screw to hold the collection cup and there is now an option to get a better pump than the rio.
