Well my wife came home with a mated pair of maron clowns today for my birthday. Verry nice of Her. They look verry good. But we already have a Clarkii. What should I do? They are in the Qtank for now. My tank is 135gl reef would they all get along?

If they're all still small, or the clarkii is much larger than the maroons, you might just be able to keep them in a 135, but I still wouldn't bet on it. So, which do you want more? Keep in mind before you add the maroons to your tank that they shouldn't be netted since they have such large cheek spines. If you try it, let us know how it works out.

With the mean bully maroon? I hope your clarkii survives after a week.

Tell her you love her so much and are willing to devote another 135G tank just for the Clarkii's new home.

If they are all tank raised there is very slim possiblity the will not kill each other due the the following factors:

Pretty large tank they may just stake out opposite ends as their territory.

The clarki, who is less aggressive than the maroons was there first giving him home feild advantage which kinda evens the fight.

but when faced with a choice keep the maroons banish the clarki.

A clarki on the oother hand will adapt to almost any anenome you put in the tank even a condy
