i want to try to keep a anemone in my 90 gal. fish only tank. the only lights that i have on that tank are 2 40 watt strip lights.is there any kind of anemone or mushrooms that will live in this tank.fish in tank are koran angel,huma trigger,hippo tang,flame hawk,grouper,chain link moray.

anemones need pretty stable water parameters.. If you don't have dsb or live rock you may have a problem with this.
Aside from that your best bet might be a condy. Not that anemones are hardy, but i think this would be the most hardy.

I would forego the anemone with your set-up - they are hard to keep without the proper parameters. You will see many in LFS in similar lighting as you have but remember these are there for only short periods of time. If the anemone dies in your tank, it can pollute the system which can lead to the death of your fish.

anenomies are hard to keep. The longest I have kept one is 18 months so far. They require good lighting, semiregular feeding, and low nitrates(less than 5 ppm) but a condi is cheap plentiful and relatively hardy.I just cant even concieve of putting one in with a trgger. But im triggerphobic.
some shrooms do fine under NO florescents but some require more intense lighting.
