I have a 120 tank with a few fish. I dont have any corals yet but I plan on getting some soon. My question is how important is a r.o./ d.i. unit. Is this something I can get away with not having or is this something that I must have to keep healthy corals? Also, I was wondering which ones are the best to get.

Have you checked the quality of the water you have now. Most people I talk to recommend an ro/di unit anyways. Later on, even w/purified water, stuff needs to be added to your tank to compensate for stuff that's removed by the ro/di unit. Calcium for one.
