Have been setting up 5 &1/2 gallon micro reef. Have a custom sealife 32w retro in hood. Has been running for 10-12hrs. a day for 2 weeks. I now have brown algae spreading all over in the tank. Please someone help?
Ahh tazzmanian, wrong area to be asking this, this is the zone for discussion of b.s. or anything other than reefing! But, I will tell you this, this is NORMAL. Welcome to your first algae bloom. This will eventually dissapate, and be replced by more fun algae blooms like hair etc. until your reach equilibrium, a few months away. Hang in there, and be patient.
