well as of last week i have but 1 reef tank. i finished tearing down the last of my tanks last month.
at one point a couple years ago i had:
180 fresh FO
135 fresh plant
90 salt FO
75 salt FO
75 fresh FO
50 reef
45 fresh plant
20 fresh plant
20 fresh FO
and i know i'm missing a couple too! i had about ~1000gallons going all in my basement.
i simply just dont have the time to take care of all of them so i decided, just the reef.
until i can get my own house, then i will have a ~400 reef and a large fresh FO with arowanas and stingrays! thats my goal.
Had 5 , have pulled 3 apart and sold them. I have 2 more to sell. My new one (1) will be ordered very soon. 10' x 3' x 2' . will be sitting on garage wall with all the workings in the garage. My 180 will serve as the sump. But Honey i'm downsizing to one tank!!. She didn't but it either.
I don't have a way to post pics. I do have a digital camera, but I do not have anywhere to post pics. Besides, I wouldn't. I am not ready. Give me just a couple of months more and my coral tank will be where I want it and my large tank will have all its inhabitants.
I have been maintaining 3-4 tanks for the past few years. The total number of tanks stays pretty much constant, although the size of the tanks tends to change (you know how it is). Right now, I am running:
1) 175 Oceanic bow front FOWLR tank in my office
2) 200 Oceanic reef tank at home
3) 90 AGA FOWLR tank at home
The last 2 are going to replaced with new tanks when I move next Spring. Right now, I am planning on a 320 gallon reef and 180 gallon FOWLR tank, both of which will be connected to the same sump.
