Is there any real difference? I was told there is. I was going to use plexi as dividers for a 20gal sump but want to make sure before I do it.

If acrylic is better can I get it Home Depot?

If all you're concerned with is making sump dividers, I would use acrylic. The bigest drawback to acrylic is that it scratches easily, but that shouldn't matter in your sump. Acrylic is easier to work with and won't crack or break.

Oops...I guess I should have read this more closely. I thought you were asking acrylic or glass for your dividers. I'll be quiet now

Yeah, Plexi glass is a domestic brand of acrylic. Its supposed to be pretty good, that's what my tank is made of.

I bought a couple of sheets today at the Depot. 12x18x3/16 was like $8.00. I think you could get it cheaper from a local plastic supplier.
