You need to set up a relay, which radio shack will have. Put the AC current for the fan on one circut and use the DC current from the controller to turn the current on and off for the other. (You will need a soldering iron)

I think you may be disappointed. I bought this module awhile back and it can be used to activate a fan or heater if the circuitry is designed around it. BUT once the fan or heater is activated it has to be RESET.

So basically the fan or heater will run until a pin is grounded and the circuit is reset.
