doesn't this look cool, no i am not planning on getting one , they say they are very very hard to get to eat , have any of you ever had one or seen one in an aquarium

Is that a juvenile ribbon eel (R. quaesita)? We had one at the store I used to work at. I couldn't get it to eat, but I think it ate the grass shrimp at night when the lights were off because a few were gone every night and it lived a few months then was sold. They are notorius escape artists and are difficult to feed i think.

I'm not sure if I'd want one in a reeftank if you want to keep crustaceans.

I have heard that the blue variety / species are a little more accomadating when it comes to feeding.
