Will a lone banggai cardinal decimate my pod population?

I have a 75 gallon tank, and since I am soon removing my sixline wrasse (he harasses the firefish), I was wondering if removing my tiger goby and letting the pod population explode would happen even if I left the banggai cardinal in the tank. The only other inhabitants are two perculas and two firefish.

As far as I know, the Banggai's aren't necessarily huge consumers of these guys. The don't seem to have the ability to cruise the rockwork and hunt for them like the wrasse do. I've never seen my lone banggai ever seek them out.
