Carpet and clowns

Overview
I have a broodstock pair of Amphiron Ocellaris clowns in my 50 gallon lagoon tank. I picked them up off a local hobbyist who had to consolidate 2 tanks. The clowns have spawned before but stopped after their host coral died. Now that I have them in the lagoon and they are predator free and I am hoping that they will spawn once they are comfortable.
In another tank I have a green carpet anemone (Stichodactyla hadonni)
The low down:
Is it advisable to add a carpet anemone to a broodstock tank?

Host anemones are inducive to spawning because of the protection from predation they offer (to the fish and their eggs). Clowns (and almost all organisms) won't reproduce without some assurance that all the exhaustive energy spent on spawning will result in successful offspring.

However, be advised that S.haddoni is not a natural host of A.ocellaris, and there's a good chance the clowns won't adopt it. It's still worth a shot though, if it's not too much trouble getting the anemone from one tank to the next. Plus, S.haddoni requires specific parameters to live healthily - notably a deep sand bed. If the broodstock tank does not fulfil the anemone's physical requirements, then I don't recommend moving it over.
