Anyone know anything about breeding Bartlett's Anthias? I did a search on the web (Yahoo! and Excite) along w/ checking the Breeders Registry but couldn't find anything on Bartlett's Anthias. There was one post about Pseudoanthias sp laying eggs in the Waikiki Aquarium, but that's about it. Sometime I'd like to get a trio for my tank and see if it's possible...

Anyone have any info? Thanks!

I believe it was one of the aims of Morgan Lidster at Inland Aquatics. He set up a verrrrry tall tank in order to provide them w/ the water column that they need to spawn (If you see them in the wild, the male "shoots' up and down through the females trying to interest them.

Don't think he ever had success though, and I think he was trying P. squamipinnis.

... same reason why attempts to spawn most wrasses (Cirrhilabrus sp. comes to mind) fail miserably.
