I recently posted a query on adding several Banggai's to my 50 gal reef tank already with an Ocellaris clown pair and an orchid dotty.

Since I want to avoid any fighting btwn Banggai's, I am now considering going with just one Banggai, but am concerned that it may not fair as well alone in a community tank.

Anyone have experience w/ a solo Banggai?

Hmmm..never asked my solo cardinal but seems to be doing just fine. My yellow tang is bestest of buddies with it since my cleaner shrimp disappeared 6 months ago. I think the tang just likes to feel the fins of the cardinal against it now. Tang will also use my cleaning stick for the glass ( wish he didn't) and fingers or hands for a free rub. Funniest thing I have ever seen. I try to discourage the tang from doing this with the stick or my hands though...can't be good for it IMO

Be careful. If you have two males, they will fight to the death!
