Ok, went to the LFS yesterday because i was told they had a new shipment in from solomans. there was about 6 Goinoporas sitting in the tank when i got there. I had two of them, Goinopora minors i think, a bright yellow one and a blue one.

I know its bad, but hey someone else would have had them if i didn't and there was soooo many. And hey bright yellow and a blue one, hens teeth mate!!

Just wondered if the Minors were any different in there care to the regular ones. Also the blue one was called a "Crystal Coral" in one of the books lying around, anyone else got any expirience with these.

I would also like to add that the ones i took were allso the most damaged out of the bunch. I know that may seem silly to all the newbies out there. But i just didn't know what to do. Oh well, i guess ill burn in hell.

Naw, you won't burn in hell. You just blew your money, and convinced the LFS to continue ordering those well-selling flowerpots ("hey, everybody loves 'em").

Sorry I can't help you with the husbandry - I've never heard of the "minor" designation. All gonios I've seen have the same coloration, which could be described as a mix of blue, green, and a golden yellow/brown. If your gonios are too yellow, or too blue, I'd suspect dyeing.

FWIW,
Kevin
