Has anyone read this book? I am interested in learning more about clams and what their needs are. Is this book worth the purchase? Any info would be apprechiated...
tangirl, sounds like that person was impressed with the book. But what do I have to lose, there really isn't to many other books out there that focus just on clams.
I say get it. I have both TRA and Knop's Giant Clam. Yes, some information may be overlapping, but the GC book has its own insight to it. You will only gain more from having the GC.
What do you mean by major new insights? I don't understand what your saying, I just want a book that is about clams and tells what their requirments are. Some nice photos and pictures couldn't hurt either.Btw how big of a book is it? As well as how old is it?

Maybe because Delbeek & Sprung got their information from Knop? IMO this book is a must have if you're planning on keeping Tridacnids.
