A couple days ago I noticed one of my green mushrooms was covered with a brownish slime. Within one day all my green mushrooms were covered with this slime. I sighoned in off of them but the next day they were all dead and no trace of them on the rock. It just looked like they melted. They have been thriving in the tank for over a year and looked very health up till a couple days ago. All my levels are good and all the other corals seem fine even my red and blue mushrooms seem fine. Has anyone else seen this happen?

That sounds like a type of bacterial infection. The brown slime is usually a mass of bacteria. The other corals are healthy and that is probably why they have not succumb to the bacteria. However, any damage,no matter how small, can be an entry for bacteria. Either the shrooms were damaged by accident or you have a predator that was slowly picking at them. Bacteria also festers in areas of slow water movement, which is where most people put their shroom colonies.

I would suggest a water change and some trace element additions.
