calcium reactor

I've been running a Geo Calcium Reactor for about 9 months now and love it. I have good calcium levels and my ALK is right where I want it. I have always had good luck dripping kalk and after reading a few threads regarding running both I have asked George to build be a Nilsen\kalk reactor to use along with my Calcium reactor. I use a Liter meter for top off so I might as well throw a kalk reactor inline.

I'm also interested in automating kalk mixing and topoff - who's george? I've been running a CR for abot 4 months and agree, it's much easier to maintain calcium/alkilinity and I'm convinced it's the best way to maintain trace elements as well, I only use the CR and add kalkwasser in my topoff at night, no more chemical additions at all.

OK, so is there info somewhere on the Nilson reactor? I'm still trying to understand the relationship between Calcium, Alkalinity and ph. My tank is cycling right now, so I am reading as much as I can so I will be ready for the next steps.

George is the man who makes the Geo Calcium Reactor. He hasn't made any of the Kalk reactors yet so it might be awhile before their avalable.

Hi, new guy here with a 206 gallon tank. I am trying to gather information on calcium reactors. What is the current wisdom regarding them and the addition of Kalk. Is there info or a FAQ about Nielson reactors?
