Hi Rich..... Nice Pics, tank looks really nice. I see you still have your 10K's on-line. I just changed my 6.5K's to 10K's about a month ago. I'm seeing some very strange results - for instance the M Caps I got from Sanjay have really started to grow faster - my blue tip Acros are gaining significant more blue tips - but the main body pigments are turning lighter - the green Bali frag that was pretty much all but gone has picked up and growing with a mere 1/4" of living polyps left from when the 6.5K's were active.

How about you - what have your experiences been??

I have seen nothing but possitive results. I'm very happy with the change. But to be fair, it was a change from 250w Iwasaki's to 400w Ushio. So they are getting more light. And they coralline is going nuts. I've seen plenty of tanks loose all coralline after switching to 400's Iwasaki.

All pictures were taken with just the 10k halides, I don't run actinincs anymore.

Rich- Looks great.

FWIW I am running the 400W 6500K iwasaki bulbs on my 180 and my corraline is out of control. The front glass gets ugly covered in less than a week.

What's the one in picture 2000? I have the same thing (hasn't colored up to green yet from the store, but it's getting there) and am unsure of how it's going to grow and color up. Mine has a large base and thin delicate branches going up from one spot.
