I have been given the green light to redo my tanks electrical system. Anyone have any good links or ideas for making the electrical system for a tank 1) safe 2) pretty 3) easy to use and 4) easyish to put togeather?
Make it so there are no plugs or outlets in the same space as the sump. Even if it doesn't seem that the sump is splashing or if it is covered- over the years bits of salt can form around the plugs etc.
You are the reason I have been given the green light. I still am feeling for you.
I am thinking about hardwirning all of the electrical components into a single panel well away from the tank. Has anyone done this, and do you have any tips?
