I've been running my dual chamber MTC Pro Cal reactor for about a week with ARM Media in both cylinders. The effluent out of the reactor: Dkh is 12 and the calcium is 400ppm,the drip is .02 l/min. The bpm is about 100. It seems that this stuff isn't dissolving the way it should. The ph out the reactor is 7.4 . I've used the ARM in the past and never had a problem with it dissolving. I also checked the calciu reactor and it appears to be working fine. Any suggustions why my dkh and calcium are so low coming out of the reactor. I've used the Florida Crushed Coral media in the past and my bpm was not as high as it is now and had no problems keeping my dkh and calcium up. Any ideas?

The recommended ph for ARM is 7.5. At this ph the effluent readings for dkh was 8 and calcium was 350.

There are 2 things which I can think of:

1. Make sure your recirc. pump is working....

2. The water might be moving through the reactor 2 fast. Try slowing down the drip rate and see what happens.
