The T Gigas is one foot long right now. I got him when he was less than 2 inches Xmas 98. Gift from my wife.

Memnok
Thanks

Kenzy
The tank was setup 7/2000. Some of the corals and clams was from my tank in Seattle (started in 1997) and some from my tank here in Corpus Christi (started 11/1999)
All the corals are tank raised except two rescused from LFS. All the clams were farm raised.

I believe I have a frag from your tank that has grown very fast from its original size. On your sight I see what appears as an "orange-ish" branching montipora just like the one I have. I now frag this frag.

I got mine from a LFS here in San Antonio and they said it came from a fellow that lived in Corpus named Minh.
Could that be you?
I dont recall when I bought this piece but it must be less than a year.
If this was from your tank, do you remeber when it was?

This piece grows fast under my 400 watt 20Ks.
Please excuse the poor photo as I snapped this and rushed it thru homestead....
I hope the picture opens.
BTW
NICE TANK!!!!!!

The orange M. digitata, the orange M. capriconis and the thick plated green Montipora sp. were all frags from your tank. In fact, all the large corals in my tank were frags from your tank. If you need any of my frags, I will bring them to Houston the next time I go to Houston.

Bodine,
I sold many Montipora (both purple and orange) and a few Acropora, Xenia and star polyps to Aquarium Sales and Services in San Antonio. It look like you got my purple Montipora digitata. This Montipora only turn purple under very strong light. Too bad they don't have enough light in their store and the Acropora could not keep its color. The market in San Antonio is poor for SPS so they don't seem to move very fast.

AlexS,
The link seem to work fine for me. Try cut and paste.

Minh,

That would be great! I broke down and sold my whole 150g setup and started from scratch. Now I have a 115g cube tank that is 30" by 30" by 30"

Please let me know the next time you come to Houston.

Cheers
James

From the look of it, the inhabitants are doing great. Like the diverse distribution of corals and the strong growth.
Very nice aquascaping.

What's that rod with a clip in the first picture?
I felt the display will be much more awesome if all those pipings and internal filters/powerheads could be hidden out of sight.
Cheers

Minh: Incredible tank! Absolutely stunning; an asset to the hobby! Thank you for sharing!

Jameso: did you have that tank custom made? If so, by whom?
