My set up: 90g tank. LR,LS, berlin system, two months old. The PS is very efficient but produces so many bubbles, that they constantly fill the tank. Any ideas what the problem could be will be really well received. Thanks all for your continued support to a new comer.

Is this an in sump Turboloter? Mine is and was doing the same thing. I rubberbanded sponges to the end of the discharge tubes, moved the return pump as far away as possible and this stopped the problem.

Thanks for your response. My PS is a hang on model. Does that change things? It is not possible to move the pump easily. I like the idea of the rubber bands and sponge. Anyone else out there had the same problem?

I am also concerned about the breather tube. It makes a constant hissing sound. Should the test tube be full of water? I can't see its purpose. Is it only there to dampen the sound?

Put a small sponge or anything soft (I have currently some toalet paper) in to the tube... yes, it's a silencer.

For the bubbles, I use sponges too, but I place them in those black boxes that I got with the skimmer. I have made some modifications to the boxes too to reduce the flow in them. (But still have some bubbles too)

Thanks Amon, I'll try it out. It still seems very strange to me that an expensive bit of kit like this should have to need a bodge job done on it. Is there anyone there who knows why the bubbles are escaping into the tank?
