Just got so LR and the guy broke it out of his tank and had it in his yard out of water in the shade for about 12 hours.
The rock is still moist but I have been noticing little bugs like the rollie polies know what I mean ???
The rock is covered in corrline and kinda green but the main question is how much of a problem are the bugs??
I have the rock in a rubbermaid container with 2 power heads blowing and a light. O'ya its 50lbs of rock (for $17.00)
Is how I am doing it right?
THANKS

Actually, if you look at what kind of bugs live at the beach, you'll notice that the potato bugs, or water bugs, or whatever you want to call them, crawl in and out of water all the time and are close descendents of a water insect. You may get some in your tank, but I doubt they'd live as I would guess they are completely adapted to land life now.
