I was just feeding some shrimp to my fish, and I noticed that "Sophie" has a spot around her eye. She is eating, and acting VERY normal. anybody got any ideas? She dosen't seem to have any real enemys, (I've never seen anyone else persecute her other than the "you've traveled too far, Get out of my space!" chase

The pictures aren't really all that clear, but if I had to venture a guess, I'd say it's lymphocystis. Generally a harmless viral disease that is untreatable and will generally resolve on its own with improved water quality and reduction of stress.

My purple tang developed some lymphocystis before I upgraded tanks. I was having a lot of cyano in the old tank and water quality issues--a long story. The lymphocystis resolved on its own once I upgraded to the larger tank. For those of you who are curious, I went from a 115 to a 180.
