they said it was either a bullshark or hammerhead, but I think they would know for sure it was a hemmaerhead because of obvious reasons(head). I think the shark population might be up, or maybe they aren't getting enough food from the tourists so they decided to eat the tourists.
bull sharks scare the crap out of me, so do tigers

I doubt it was a Hammerhead, most likely a bull shark in the case of the two people attacked together.

i don't think shark attack is on the rise. if you read the news, it is actually on the way down. we just have a faster media than before.

It's called media hype. Shark attacks are actually down this year compared to last year. I believe it was 79 or 80 attacks last year and we are only at 50 for this year.

don't swim early in the morning and don't swim at sunset and you are fine. Thats when most of these attacks have taken place and that is the prefered mood lighting sharks prefer for their dining
