Hi All,
I just recently left the world of fish only with simple inverts to a 15 gallon nano-reef. Here are my tank specs. It's a 15 gallon with 55 watts of PC 10,000K. Ammonia-0, Nitrite-0,Nitrates-0, phosphates-0 (but my test kit starts at .2 so there may be trace that I can't read, Calcium-405 with some fluctuation, DKH-7.84(working on getting a little higher)Inhabintants include, 2 common clownfish, 1 false gramma, and a firefish (thinking about getting him a buddy but not sure). I started with a Deresa clam that is still doing fine and seems quite healthy, today I bought some yellow polyps and a beautiful small brain coral. My question is mostly about the brain coral. I have no idea what to expect from something like this. How will I know if it dies. It seems to be giving off a cobweb type string or something(it's only been in the system for a few hours now) My main question is, how will I be able to tell if it becomes distressed? As a note the yellow polyps are fully extended and seem to be a lot happier than they were in the dealers tanks. Any care tips for these 2? Thanks in advance for your time.
William
