R Rich-n-poor Advanced Reefer Rating - 0% 0 0 0 Dec 1, 2001 #3 most people here would say 3-4 inches for denitrification purposes and 2 lbs per gallon of rock. Im running 1.5 inches and 1 lb per gallon in my 37 but it has a low bioload and I tend to be a minimalist. but you sound about right in your estimates. _________________ Honda PC50
