I would like some lighting recommendations for my new 90g. My current situation is as follows:

2 x 175W MH (Hamilton 10000K)

2 x 55W PC actinic

The MH bulbs are 7" above the water surface and the water column (with DSB) is about 19" deep. I would like the option of keeping clams and SPS. Is this enough light?

If not, I have an Ice Cap 660 ballast that I could use to supplement the current setup (using 46.5" bulbs). If you were going to add the VHO's, how many would you add and what color combinations? I could always switch the PC's from actinic to regular bulbs too. Anyone with exerience with this would be very much appreciated. Thanks.

It is probably enough light, but I would go with dual 250s, if you can. Rarely do you find somebody who wishes they had less light.

I wish I could go with bigger MH (probably 400's if I could), but right now I have the 175's so I have to use them. Just trying to figure out if I need to add the VHO's, or I will use them on another tank. If anyone has any input regarding the VHO's please let me know. Thanks.
