I wonder if these claims are true. I've been using Coralife for a long time with no problems, but these claims say we are being mislead. Check it out.....

IMO the S-15 report is pure lies. People have kept marine animals very successfully over the long term with salts such as IO, Reef Crystals, and Kent. The company that did the S-15 Report, of course, rated its own 3 salts at the top.

I have, however, heard a lot of bad things about Coralife, such as very high levels of lithium.

Yep. The AquaCraft salts scored pretty well indeed....

I've been using Instant Ocean since my first saltwater tank, and have never ever thought of saltwater as difficult (okay, except on the pocketbook). I'm no scientist, but sounds like the complaints they list from marine aquarists such as "all my fish died" are from those aquarists that don't know what the hell they're doing! The phenomenon would be referred to as "stupid people" syndrome (no offense meant to those who know what they are doing that have suffered a crash).

I have used corallife, red sea, and instant ocean. Corallife IMO did not do as well as the Instant ocean and the red sea was a distant third. Stick with IO.
