ich garlic

i have now added medication to my tank and garlic i hope everything turns out ok , i am using kick ich to try to control it , so far my clown has had it 3 days, and the mandarian green goby and brittlestar and eel don't have it
SEVERAL people told me that eels, resist ich pretty well and alot said that brittlestars and starfish won't get ich , ANY OF YOU EVER HEARD THAT

Technically, inverts don't get ich, but I would never medicate a tank with inverts. Good luck with the Kick Ich. IMO, it works less than 50% OF the time. Garlic works a little better, but I would go with hyposalinity if the infection is bad.

Kirtis, I looked at your prior posts. You don't mention a mandarin in them. Now, Mandarin's are very picky about their food- they only eat the amphipods and copepods in LS, otherwise they eventually starve to death. FWIR, You setup the 20gallon 4-7 weeks before oct 28th. (from your post). Then you moved it all to a 30. (no date here) Then, on or just before nov 4th, you moved it all into a 55. The sandbed in any of these tanks wouldn't have the population required to sustain a mandarin goby. Again, I point out, In none of those replies, did you mention a mandrin goby. Did you forget about him, or just recently add him??

nope the scallop doesn't have it , nothing has it except for the clown , he is gettinga little better since i started treating the tank
