How well do Maxi-Jet's work in a external configuration like that? I'm in the process of building a Ca reactor and wrote off using one, figuring it would leak.

Hi,
You'll have to ask George the cost. I too am a little worried about the MJ but have read that people use them. If it a problem I'll swap it out for a Mag or Dolphin pump (no biggie) George says it doesn't leak....

I have an externally plumbed Maxi-jet on my Kalk stirrer. haven't had any leaks whatsoever. *Knock on wood*
