Check www.Reefranatic.com if you can fit the CS6-3 in your sump that's the one you want. its only a few dollars more.

I would say its more like an 1/8" clearence is needed to remove the cup.

i ordered mine from Jeff's Exotic Fish today. they charged $8 to ship to alabama. Plus, they have a sale going right now on their smallest unit the CS6-1. Should be here in 3-5 business days. i'm excited.

How much clearance is required to remove the collection cup? I may be able to fit the CS6-3 under the sump, but I am concerned about the additional space when removing the cup.

For example, I currently have a berlin classic, but it takes almost 10 - 12 inches to remove the cup due to one of the riser tubes.

About 1/2" clearance is required (virtually none). It's joined via a large (and expensive) PVC union.

I bought mine from Marine Depot.
