Just courious what kind of Cal&Buffer 2-part additives you use. I have a small reef. I have been dosing Kents Tech A&B.
Has anyone used the Kents Liquid Reactor?
This is a new product. Wondering if anyone has yet tried this? Thanks

I've never heard of this "new" Kent product. Calcium and alkalinity supplements, by nature can only be done so many ways. It's 1) Calcium and 2) alkalinity...

If you're using a 2 part additive and it seems to be working for you, I'd stick with it. Bionic or C-balance are two other 2-part additives.

Good luck!

I have seen this new product by Kent, billed as a calcium reactor in a bottle. It is supposed to be able to do Ca and Alk, along with trace elements, I am a little skeptical. I would stick with what your are using, at least until this product has had some longevity behind it. I use Kent products almost exclusively in my tank, but this product seems too good to be true.

Thanks guys, I just talked to someone yesterday about the Liquid Reactor. He said that he has a customer that loves it. But, this product has only been out for about 2-3 months. I am not sure if I want to make the switch yet. The 2-part Cal& Alk works for me. All this new stuff, makes you wonder what makes it better or not worth trying.
Thanks Holly

I use the KENT marine Tech*CB part A and B. I have used them both for over a year and I am happy with the results.

It is a scientific fact that you cannot mix Calcium and Carbonate in the same bottle and get something that is good for anything. The CaCO3 will precipate out at rediculously low concentration, leaving you with some really really expensive water.
