EEreefer referenced this site in a different thread - thought I'd post a heads-up, for whoever hasn't seen it before.
www.fishbase.org

It's a fish database.

Awesome site. It can be searched by common name, scientific name, location, about any way you can think of. Thanks for the reminder and heads up.

since we're endorsing sites:
www.coralrealm.com

It's a subscriber based info-site, but from the accounts of everyone, it's well worth it. Fishbase is a great resource, but usually doesn't offer enough depth of information (esp. those pertinent to hobbyists).

Leonard- that coralrealm site looks really good.

Also, as far as reference sites, let us not forget the reefs.org library! (and archives)...

The coral realm site is also good. I am a member

. It's no wonder I can't get anything for my tank. Ron Shimek's water test, ISRS dues, books, Coral Realm, now I know where all the money goes

I really like the information that coral realm provides, but I really dislike their format. The center column is way too small and I find it very difficult to read any thing there. I think they need to blow the center column out to 800pixels or so.
