I'm using a Euroreef CS6-2 and it's working great! I use to use a Red Sea Berlin and you can't even compare them. It is by far superior to the berlin skimmer. I've been using it since May of this year. I almost bought the ETS 800, but price wise I was talked out of it. If I would have bought the ETS, I would have had to also bought a pump, and a collection cup. That would have cost much more. The Euroreef's come compleat, and ready to go. They are also ease to maintain. I'm using it on my 135 gal. reef tank.

Ditto to everything Len said. I use a Euro-reef CS6-3 on my 150 gal reef. IMO, you should go for the CS6-2 or larger, this skimmer uses a little larger pump then the CS6-1...

What size tank?

What size tank do you plan to upgrade to? I know of some people who use the CS6-2 on 150 gal tanks.

The CS6-2 will be just fine for your 58. You could even go bigger prepping for your next tank.

I like my Euroreefs. Having cycled through almost every skimmer imaginable, I ended up back with Euroreef. The skimmers I have tried for my 120 gallon (in relative order): RS Berlin, Turboflotor, MTC venturi (forgot model), Euroreef F series, ASM G-2, HSA 1000, Bullet 2, AquaC EV 200, Aerofoamer 624, and currently, Euroreef CS6-2.

I decided to settle with the Euroreef CS6-2 because of my specific criteria:
1. Energy efficient
2. Relatively quiet
3. Ease of servicing (I hate flanges)
4. Compact size
5. Skimming performance

It was also one of the simpliest pumps to set up, and one of the few that requires absolutely zero adjustments once set up.

I recommend the Euroreef.
