I am ready to put LR into my 90g. I want to go mail order and can pick it up at Los Angeles Int'l if necessary. I want to get the freshest best stuff I can get. Anyone order any lately and get an awesome bunch of rock? Let me know. Thanks.

Harbor aquatics always has GREAT live rock. Premium aquatics is good stuff too. Y ou could save buka bucks if you got it at Jeff's and didn't ship it.

Why don't you just take a drive down to Jeff's Exotic ( Gardena) and pick up some live rock. They are a wholesaler and have pretty decent rock at very low cost. http://www.exoticfish.com/

Another vote for Tampa Bay Saltwater (tbsaltwater.com)- I am lucky enough to be
a 2 hour drive from their warehouse and have gotten some great LR.

I'd go for Jeff's too if I were you. I ordered some Marshal Island rock from Jeffs and it was pretty nice but quite a bit of it was rubble. If you can go over to Jeffs and pick it out you're golden though.

I also ordered some Gulf-View rock and its freaking awesome. Its got so much cool growht on it; I think I may have even gotten a tiny richordia.

paragonsales.com is great! i ordered 90lbs. and they were very large(when you order they ask what sizes you want) i acctually got more weight than i paid for and there were lots of polyps, tube worms...etc. one rock had a porites about the size of a drink can on it. im very happy with the rock

Another vote for tbsaltwater.com I got the package about 2 months ago and have been very very happy with it. The rock looks great with lots of life on it.

Jeff's Exotics http://www.exoticfish.com/ would be worth the drive for you. They have some quality rock, coral, fish, and dry goods at great prices. Most of his employees are pretty knowledgeable too. I'm headed there tomorrow. Good pickins' on Tuesdays...they're closed on Sunday and Monday to the public, but get shipments in on those "closed" days.
