This morning when I woke up...make it short, stupid!
All of my montiporas (mostly frags) Digitata: Orange, Brown, Green are all bleaching. The polyps are out on all three, but the colors are wrong. The orange is pinkinh and the brown is turning white (the polyps) The green digitata has turned a light shade of green, beyond lime to nearly white. Also, my Capricornis has went from brown to light brown- off white. Everything else sps (Acros, Pocillipora, Hydnophora, seriatopora) all seem fine as well as LPS and softies (with the except of my Capnella colony, they are somewhat closed up).
All levels are normal.
I'm quick mixing up a batch of water for a water change (had some made up, but I had added some r/o water earlier and was gradually adding salt).
These corals are touching nothing.
Yesterday i added a T.crocea clam, it is fine. The only thing is I placed the clam on a piece of lace rock the LFS gave me for that purpose--I have removed the lace/cave rock. It's a bout hand sized. I don't know if it leached some type of harmful mineral or something. I've used it in the past for frag rocks, but a different type. Just guessing here.
