Call the number listed and talk to them instead. I liked their seedlings better than the sprouts. What happened is they grow them in Freshwater and you will have to acclimate each from freshwater to salt for a 2 weeks span. Some may not make it. I lost about 50% of the mangrove I acclimized. I've heard if the seedling were grown in saltwater to start with, you could achieve 100% success. I never tried it.
By the way, I hope you realized the mangroves are very slow grower. Mine grows 2 leaves every month........more or less.
I feel bad - I did a search and found a million references to where to buy them.
I want to use *many* mangroves... several in-sump, a couple in my tank, and several in my other tank.
I actually want to contact the guy in Hawaii from eBay. He gives you 10 plants for $10. Great deal.
But I don't want to use eBay because I don't want to give my credit card or mailing information so they and a gazillion other companies can SPAM the bejesus out of me (I used to work at a company right next to DoubleClick... I wanted to throw eggs at their employees all the time).
Can anyone tell me the Hawaii eBay guy's contact info?

I got some mangrove pods from brian in hawaii back in december, I forgot to tell him to include heatpacks so I thought all was lost. All survived and are growing fast, I am going to trim them this weekend
I dont know if they were salt acclimated or not. I just stood them in a corner of my sump with good lighting. Nothing really happened for about two weeks and then at the same time they all started sprouting leaves. I have done nothing as far as maintaining them and they are growing fast.I see why people say you have to keep them pruned, they could get very large in a short time.Since adding a DSB and mangroves my hair algae has dissapeared and nitrates have been undetectable.
