Alk. question

Hey All,

I have a question on alkalinity.
I am still cycling my tank. My ammonia
is at 0. Nitrite is falling and nitrate is
up. My ph has been around 8.3-8.45. My dkh is
at 6.16. What would be the best way to bring this up. I was thinking about Kent super buff
dkh. Any ideas would be helpfull.

Why do you want to bring it up? What level do you want it to get? I think you got the unit of measure mixed up!

Baking soda will work perfectly fine in your situation.

Well I wanted to bring it because
all my research and books say it should
be up around 9-11dkh

Don't worry about the nitrate reading - the nitrite you have is very likely interfering with the test results.
