i plan on having a 58 gallon fish/invert tank (no corals) with the following critters in it

1 coral beauty
1 tomato OR maroon clown
2 firefish
1 royal gramma
1 abalone
a few cleaner shrimp
a mixture of blue leg, scarlet, and zerba hermits
a mixture of turbo and red foot moon snails
some feather dusters
and maybe a couple mythrax or anemone crabs

here are my questions:

1) ive read tomato and maroon clowns are aggressive, will the smaller shy firefish be alright in the same tank?

2)how many hermits do u suggest for my tank? how many shrimp? snails? feather dusters?

3) are mythrax and anemone crabs peaceful tank mates? which one would u suggest me putting in my tank?

4)which would make a more peaceful tank mate the maroon or the tomato clown?

5)do you see anything thats not compatable in my soon-to-be tank?

I've had one for four years, it is aggressive towards any new fish I add. It eventually settles down towards them (my fish is too fat to chase those little fish for long). I don't know if this is what others will suggest but try adding the tomato last, that might help. As for the other questions I'm not sure.

you might want to try adding the t clown last to the tank. This gives the other fish a chance to set up their territory first. If the clown is already in the tank, try changing the decour around so all the fish have to reestablish their territory.
