Hi folks,

I'm building a website, and I've compiled a general reef FAQs page for the clueless:
http://www.geocities.com/john_r_chase/basfaq.htm

Please let me know what you think! If you have any suggestions or additions, please let me know.

(M.E.Milz, I used one of your photos - you said once that usage of your photos is OK as long as you're cited (you are in this case) - I hope it's ok!)

Hey Cheese, i think you might like to add these for our clueless counterparts.

1) Syphons are started by SUCKING the water out of the tank to a recepticle BELOW the waterline.

2) Live rocks dont like being stuck together with super glue.

3) Wet hands and power points dont mix.

4) heaters dont like being tested in air

5) Live rocks will not try to run away if left unattended.

Just a few gems of wisdom i have had to administer while working at my LFS this summer.

Looks good. I would like to add that reef aquariums take up a fair bit of space and this needs to be planned in the beginning before purchasing anything. I think most newbies see the pretty reef display in the store, but don't see "behind the scenes", like all the extra hardware that makes reefkeeping easier like auto topoffs, big skimmers, large sumps, RO/DI filters with gallons of reserve water.
