I have seen a pretty good sized bubble tip anemone (E. Quadricolor) at the LFS that I go to. It is about 12" in diameter and takes up most of the tank. It has a tomato clown in it that they cal "Sid Vicious". The thing will try to bite your hand off if you put it in there.

A great book to read is "Clownfishes" by Joyce Wilkerson. Easy to find online. It has tons of info on clowns and the various anemone's

Try a long tentacle anenome, they are pretty hardy and most clown fish like them. They might transform to a new form and adapt to the lighting conditions in your tank when you get them, but I kept one in my 20 gallan reef the better part of a year before I transported it to my 125 gallon and tore down my 20 gallon..

I dunno, it seems mine did...the tentacles became much more narrow...I keep it dirrectly under a 96 watt 50/50 PC, all other water parameters check out. The corals and macro-alage in the tank are doing fine. I have heard stories of other peoples long tentacle and bubble tips going throught a sort of re-emersion. Disapperaing in the tank, and re-appearing...only slightly different. I dunno, maybe I have it all wrong.

I wouldn't suggest any clownfish host anemones for a 10 gallon tank. They all grow too large to be housed in a small tank.

Yep, upstairs at Nippon! That fish will try to bite your finger if you even put it near the tank.
