Kh/Alkalinity Question

I just used the Saliferts KH/Alk Test Kit. My reading must be high because I used the hole 1ml solution in the syringe and the color still did not change.So what does this mean? My ALK is over 5.71 and Kh is over 16.0 Is this bad? My PH is around 8.1 and everything is 0. What should I do about alk/kh? The only thing I add is B- Ionic Buffer. Calcium is around 350. :?:

It sounds like your Alk/CA blanace is out of wack. Water changes are the easiest/best way to fix it. Do some searches on this board - the topic has been discusses a whole bunch, and explained very well.
