looking to see if anyone has used a needle wheel pump on a reef devil skimmer. also if anyone has done a beckett mod on one. ty rick

Needlewheels are entirely different skimmers. Yo need a pressure rated pump for the ETSS. There are beckett mods available, but I'm not too sure where you can get them. Either way, you still need a pressure rated pump. NW is no good for you.

ty louis. thats what i thought. i am running a mag 7 on it now, and still dialing it in. havent added my fish yet, so i know ill have to tune it a little more then. just started putting my zoa's in new tank. and i did listen to what you told me months ago. other than to get a diff skimmer. it will only be running on a total water volume of about 72g
