I am having a heck of a time getting the stockman stnadpipe mod to work right. I am getting allot of noise from my sump (bubbles) and I am not sure how to fix it. It bubbles quite loudly for 3 minutes and then goes quite for 1 minute or so. I am not sure whether to make the holes in the top of the standpipe smaller or larger.

E, I don't think you have enough air going in. FYI I used a 1/4" ball valve on mine so I could play with it until I got it right.

I got mine at the hardware store. You can use an air line valve also. Another thing you can do short term is to place a pc of duct tape over the end of the pipe and poke holes in it, actually since its duct tape, it might last a year or two.
